"Cast iron skillet Kamasada, 2 sizes"
Nanbu Tekki, the traditional Japanese art of blacksmithing , makes it possible. Cast iron products of the highest quality. In design and function. Beautiful and healthy. Stable, true to form and sustainable. Lifetime suppliers for frying results at the highest level with incomparable taste. These pans are designed by world-renowned and award-winning designer Nobuho Miya, whose work has been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art and elsewhere. His excellent knowledge of Nanbu Tekki blacksmithing, his unparalleled sense of good form and his passion for minimalist design are masterfully realized at Kamasada Manufactory, Iwate Prefecture. These handmade pans are very thin-walled and thus relatively light. Only Nanbu Tekki and the best iron ore with lots of natural iron make these timelessly beautiful shapes, light weight and outstanding cooking properties possible. The elaborate processing requires a lot of time, attention and high craftsmanship. But this effort pays off. With minimal, good care, the pans are virtually indestructible. The excellent taste, the health-promoting iron, the easy handling are some of the reasons that ensure that these pans are also highly appreciated in selected fine restaurants.
All products are unique. Slight deviations from the picture are possible. Due to the artisan production, small irregularities in the shape and surface are possible and do not represent a reduction in value.
