"Sukiyaki cast iron skillet, large"
Handmade cast iron pans with excellent cooking properties. They bear the name - Sukiyaki - of the traditional Japanese dish not by chance. After all, especially for popular traditional dishes, the highest quality is an indispensable requirement. The birthplace of these pans is in faraway Japan, in the region of Iwate. This region has made Japan famous as the producer of the best cast iron in the world, produced using the traditional Nanbu Tekki manufacturing method. Nanbu Tekki makes possible three important product advantages in particular: the products can be cast with very thin walls. Which is especially necessary for minimalist shapes. The thermal conductivity of the material is exceptionally high. Which saves energy. And the material is very sustainable and requires only simple maintenance. Kamasada manufactory, of course, uses only the first choice raw materials for its products: the best iron ore with a lot of natural iron. With these pans you do not cook but conjure. The flavors that develop when cooking and frying with excellent cast iron make many star chefs go into raptures. It's no wonder that our pans are also becoming increasingly popular in private kitchens. \"Design follows function\", Nobuho Miya, the designer and master of Nanbu Tekki, has skillfully implemented this \"law\" for perfect design with his products. His work has won many awards and has been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of modern Art, New York.
All products are unique. Slight deviations from the picture are possible. Due to the artisan production, small irregularities in the shape and surface are possible and do not represent a reduction in value.

This technique enables the production of exceptionally thin-walled products, providing designers with many possibilities. Nobuho Miya is one such world-renowned designer, and Kamasada Ironworks, the manufacturing facility founded by his family in Iwate Prefecture, brings his designs to life in excellent products. The workshop consistently produces cast iron products of the highest quality in both function and design using the Nanbu Teki (also known as Nambu Tetsu or Southern cast ironware) method. Nobuho Miya's works have been awarded worldwide and exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Each item is a handmade masterpiece that represents the outstanding skills of the artisans. Acquiring these skills requires extensive training and many years of experience.
Nobuho Miya's work is unmistakable, as it combines his expertise and experience with Nanbu Teki with his advanced quality as a designer.
