Over 120 years since the foundation of Kunjudo

Since Kunjudo was founded on Awaji Island in 1893, we have been producing incense sticks and incense with great care with the help of experienced craftsmen who place special emphasis on quality. In addition to traditional incense burning, we are constantly searching for a new way of burning incense that suits our daily lives, utilizing the technical skills we have cultivated over many years. On our long journey, we have been guided by our high respect for our customers and our love for good fragrances as well as our nature. 1893: Founder Heiichiro Fukunaga established Fukunaga Senkoten. Start of production of incense sticks and start of trade with Osaka and Sakai with own ships. The current chairman Minoru Fukunaga received the \"Director of Osaka Regional Taxation Bureau 2016\" award from the Osaka Regional Taxation Bureau.

HA KO is a special brand from Kunjudo. It is a new type of incense made of paper, with high standards of aesthetics, purity and fragrance. The HA KO incense leaves are easy and safe to use to enjoy the transformative effect of scents wherever you want. Of course, many of the HA KO offerings also make very personal, high-quality gifts. How to enjoy HA KO

Paper incense leaves look beautiful when placed decoratively and exude elegance when burned. You can enjoy the fragrance that floats gently through the room as soon as you burn them. Or you can use the leaves as incense to intensify the fragrance. So find your preferred way to use the HA KO leaves.

Place the leaves on a nice incense plate and place it in your favorite place such as the entrance, living room, bathroom, etc. and feel the gentle scent. (The scent lasts for about 3 months and changes depending on the temperature and humidity)

You can also enjoy HA KO by burning it like incense sticks. If you light the HA KO on a non-flammable surface and blow out the flame, the leaf will glow and the fragrance will spread throughout the room. To do this, light the HA KO leaf, blow out the flame and place it on our incense mat, for example. Let each piece smoke for about 5 to 7 minutes and spread the fragrance throughout the room.
