Yoshida
Manufacturer
In ancient times, there were many craftsmen on the Japanese island of Kyushu known as "Field Blacksmiths." These forges supported the daily lives of local people by producing and repairing various types of tools, including knives and cutting implements. Yoshida Hamono was founded as a Field Blacksmith and has a history of producing many types of cutting tools. Traditional craftsmanship, proven production techniques, and high expertise have been passed down from generation to generation, constantly improved and supplemented. For its kitchen knives, Yoshida uses extremely high-quality knife steels and collaborates with the esteemed steel manufacturer Hitachi.
At the Yoshida forge, hand-forged knives of the highest quality with very long lifespans are crafted.
Each knife is a unique piece.
