Ikebana
Ikebana is a Japanese art form that deals with creating floral arrangements. The term Ikebana comes from the Japanese words "Ike" (living) and "bana" (flower) and refers to the creation of living, natural arrangements from various plant materials such as flowers, branches, leaves and roots.
Ikebana has its roots in Zen philosophy and emphasizes the beauty of nature and the connection between body, mind and soul. There are different schools and styles of Ikebana, which differ in the way the materials are arranged and the rules and conventions that must be followed.
