Hand painted folding fan from Kyoto for ladies. The motif pumpkin represents growth and prosperity, it is said to bring good luck to the whole family and protect against disease. Each fan is a unique piece, the picture exemplary, slight variations possible. In the artist's workshop Yamamori these fans are painted individually by hand. The fan is 41 cm wide, length closed 22,7 cm. The cover is made of Japanese cotton and linen, the bamboo frame is also handmade by craftsmen in Japan.
