It is coincidence? The workshop for fine wooden vessels was founded in the year of his birth, 1969. Around 20 years later, Takehito Nakijima began his practical training in the workshop, of which he is now the head. Takehito's work is quickly divided into two areas. His love for practical work remains fresh and lively to this day. However, it would only be half the truth to talk about Takehito. Because his creativity and expertise as a multiple award-winning designer are also integral parts of the soul of the workshop. The many awards he has received in Japan and Europe for his work have ultimately led to him being sought after and active as a judge for art exhibitions today.
