This elegant gravy boat holds approx. 950 ml. Like all items in the Shusetsu tableware series, the sauce bowl is made of genuine Arita porcelain. Regardless of what you serve in the Shusetsu bowl, the dish will have a typical Japanese touch of exclusivity.
As the tableware is handmade, each piece may have differences in color and texture and the glaze tends to show small pinholes, which is part of the product characteristics. The series is approved by the manufacturer for dishwasher and microwave use. However, we recommend gentle cleaning by hand. The tableware is not suitable for the oven and direct flame

Arita porcelain is a generic term for porcelain produced in Arita-cho, Saga Prefecture. It is characterized by its high quality as well as its widely appreciated aesthetics. Arita porcelain is hard and durable, and as a white porcelain it is admired for its high transparency, which almost gives the feeling of translucency. The raw material for Arita porcelain was first found in Arita at the beginning of the Edo era (1616).

The Shusetsu tableware series combines natural radiance and elegance in a particularly successful way. The porcelain, produced with a high level of craftsmanship, is timeless in its aesthetics and shines in a modern ambience as well as in comfortably furnished rooms. Despite the sophisticated, special gold or silver glaze, the Shusetsu dinnerware is dishwasher and microwave safe and is ideal for everyday enjoyment.
