Naked Finish
The naked finish of cast iron products - a further development of the traditional Nambu Tekki finishing - is a patented finish from OIGEN. The surface of Nambu Tekki products with a naked finish is noticeably more porous, so oil is absorbed more strongly. This means that the products are easier to burn in and the non-stick effect is more noticeable. Cast iron products with a naked finish may develop a patina as they come without any type of coating or treatment.
