Nobuho Miya is one such world-renowned designer, and Kamasada Ironworks, the manufacturing facility founded by his family in Iwate Prefecture, brings his designs to life in excellent products. The workshop consistently produces cast iron products of the highest quality in both function and design using the Nanbu Teki (also known as Nambu Tetsu or Southern cast ironware) method. Nobuho Miya's works have been awarded worldwide and exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art in New York.
