Arita porcelain is a generic term for porcelain produced in Arita-cho, Saga Prefecture. It is characterized by its high quality as well as its widely appreciated aesthetics. Arita porcelain is hard and durable, and as a white porcelain it is admired for its high transparency, which almost gives the feeling of translucency. The raw material for Arita porcelain was first found in Arita at the beginning of the Edo era (1616).

The Shusetsu tableware series combines natural radiance and elegance in a particularly successful way. The porcelain, produced with a high level of craftsmanship, is timeless in its aesthetics and shines in a modern ambience as well as in comfortably furnished rooms.
