Black beauties with stripes

Exclusive wooden cutlery made of ebony. The ebony is black striped, real heartwood, and is one of the most valuable wood species of all. It is very hard and has a density between 0.9 to 1.3 kg/dm³. Mostly ebony is used for valuable inlay work and the construction of valuable musical instruments. In mythology, ebony plays a major role, it is said to have a magical effect. It is supposed to protect against demons, preserve the power of magical objects and is considered - in mythology - the ideal raw material for magic wands.

Lippenschmeichler
Ich habe mir vor ein paar Monaten diesen Ebenholzlöffel geleistet und möchte ihn nicht mehr hergeben. Plastik- Gefühl beim Essen kommt bei mir nicht auf: ich weiß ja, daß er aus Holz ist und Eigengeschmack hat er nicht. Er ist ultraglatt, leicht, dicht und weit angenehmer als ein Metalllöffel im Mund. Ist er doch keine Kühlrippe für die Suppe. Gerade weil er so glatt ist, finde ich ihn weitaus hygienischer als normale Holzzoberfläche. Bis jetzt hat er noch nichts davon verloren.

Die dezente kleine Intarsie am Stilende weist ihn als etwas ganz Besonderes aus. In Eleganz steht er seinen metallenen Verwandten in überhaupt nichts nach.

Wäscht man ihn gleich nach dem Gebrauch von Hand und trocknet ihn, ist er auch schnell wieder aufgeräumt. Ich habe mir noch eine kleine Stoff-Bestecktasche dazu besorgt, damit er in der Besteckschublade nicht leiden kann.

Ich für meinen Teil bin 100% zufrieden mit meinem Kunst-Stück und spare jetzt noch auf die passende Gabel...

Sehr schön, aber.....
Die Löffel und Gabeln sehen wunderschön aus und liegen gut in der Hand. Eine echte Zierde. Sie sind überraschend leicht und leider mit einem sehr glatten Lack überzogen. Deshalb ist das Essgefühl leider 1:1 so, als würde man Plastiklöffel benutzen. Ich vermisse die weiche Oberfläche von naturbelassenem, geschliffenen Holz.
