"Kokuyou sushi set"
Japanese handmade ceramics are created in high quality according to traditional manufacturing methods and convinces with high hardness, resistance and wonderful surfaces. The proverbial quality consciousness of entire generations of Japanese artisans is the basis for the tableware, which is appreciated in many countries. Often the pieces are handmade Unikatr, unique pieces that represent a successful, long tradition of artful Japanese ceramic production.
The beautiful, minimalist plates, bowls and platters of the Kokuyou series are made of glazed earthenware. The matte, slightly rough surface looks elegant, modern and yet timeless. The stoneware is sturdy and dishwasher safe. The Kokuyou series dinnerware is highly regarded by prestigious restaurants in Japan, providing a wonderful platform for a beautifully presented meal. It is ideal for everyday use, whether for Japanese or European delicacies.

High quality ebony chopsticks. Ebony, genuine heartwood, is one of the most valuable types of wood around. It is very hard, heavy and has a density between 0.9 to 1.3 kg/dm³. Mostly ebony is used for valuable inlay works and construction of sophisticated musical instruments. In mythology, ebony plays a major role. It is often said to have a magical effect. It is to protect against demons, preserve the power of magical objects and is considered - in mythology - as an ideal raw material for magic wands.
All products are unique. Slight deviations from the picture are possible. Due to the artisan production, small irregularities are evidence of authenticity and craftsmanship and do not represent a reduction in value.

Oryoki
Organically certified tea from Kagoshima.
Our ORYOKI tea comes from an organic-certified tea farm located on the island of Kyushu in Kagoshima, southern Japan. The subtropical climate with abundant sunshine and plentiful rainfall at an elevation of about 500 meters above sea level provides optimal conditions for cultivating high-quality green tea. The expansive tea fields in the mountainous region are a characteristic feature of tea farms in Kagoshima. Spring water and volcanic soil rich in minerals offer optimal conditions for the growth of tea plants.
Gentle processing and quality controls for optimal tea enjoyment.
The prohibition of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers is just one of the many regulations for the organic certification of tea farms and tea processing companies. Stringent annual inspections by the Japanese certification authority for agricultural operations ensure compliance with the measures. Additionally, organic teas are tested for pesticides and radioactivity by independent laboratories. The best foundation for healthy and high-quality tea enjoyment.
Gold award for the tea master.
The high-quality tea leaves from our family-run tea farm are not the only reason for our premium product. The skills of the tea master play a crucial role in the final quality. All our tea varieties are produced in micro-batches and not in mass production, following traditional methods. Years of experience in production enable us to fully extract the flavor and character of each green tea batch. Most recently, the tea master was awarded gold at the annual tea processing competition in Shizuoka.
