Serve in style. Japanese serving tray, rectangular, 300 x 200 mm. Like the bowls from Tsuchinao, it is made from zelkove and lacquered with Urushi, the natural tree resin lacquer. The craftsmen use two traditional techniques for this: Maki-ji and Kijiro-nuri. This not only gives the surface of the tray a very pleasant, soft feel, it also protects it extremely efficiently. The grain of the wood is visible through the lacquer and becomes more and more beautiful the more you use the tray.
