Ideal and stylish for cast iron teapots and tetsubin kettles. The cast iron teapot warmer from Iwachu is available in two sizes. This version with Ø 13.5 cm is designed for the slightly larger teapots, filling about 900 - 1200 ml. And also very suitable for tetsubin, water kettles, to keep the water warm for further tea infusions. The teapot warmer is very sturdy design. The support, the lid, can be removed for the placement of a tea light. Sufficiently large openings in the lower area provide good ventilation. Usage note: Please note that tea lights must be extinguished when the teapot or tetsubin is emptied.

The best quality from the hands of experienced artisans

Few artisans in Japan make tetsubin, Kyusu and many other high quality products from cast iron using the traditional methods of ancient Japan. The working process, in order to achieve the desired high quality, is very time-consuming and requires many years of experience from the masters. Elaborate clay molds are made by hand on the lathe and can usually be used for only 4 or 5 products. The world's most famous brand of handmade Nanbu tetsubin and Kyusu made of cast iron (tea pot) is Iwachu, Iwate Prefecture. Only natural materials are used as raw materials: tested iron ore and iron sand, Urushi lacquer, green tea and vinegar for the tetsubin, sealing and protecting the outer surfaces. Classic designs like the Arare motif but also picture motifs or very reduced designs are the rule. Colors are used rather rarely in the Tetsubin, Kyusu are also available in very different, modern colors.

All products are unique. Slight deviations from the picture are possible. Due to the handmade production, small irregularities in the shape and surface are possible. Iwachu products are only genuine with the original stamp on the product.

Use

It is best to clean dry. If necessary, use infused green tea leaves.

Perfekt
Ich habe mir dieses Stövchen nachträglich doch gekauft und bin mehr als zufrieden, Qualität ist wie alles andere von Iwachu, perfekt!

Kann es für alle kleine Kannen empfehlen.

Ansprechendes stilechtes Stövchen
Habe mir das kleine Stövchen als Kombiteil zu meiner Nami Aomi gekauft. Passt perfekt und harmoniert perfekt zusammen mit meiner "HEISS" geliebten Nami Aomi. So kann ich mir mehrere Male Tee aufbrühen und ihn über mehrere Stunden hinweg heiß genießen. Der Deckel von dem Stövchen lässt sich bequem abnehmen, ein Teelicht einsetzen, anzünden und wieder daraufsetzen und meine Teekanne steht solide darauf.
Darüber hinaus sind das Stövchen und die Nami Aomi zusammen ein ästhetischer Blickfang in meiner Wohnung.

Erstklassiges Stövchen
Ich war lange auf der Suche nach einem Stövchen für meinen Iwachu Nami Aomi um das Wasser möglichst lange heiß/warm zu halten auch wenn ich mal draußen Tee trinken möchte. Es passt perfekt von der Größe her perfekt zu dem genannten Tetsubin. Wenn das Wasser vorher zum Kochen gebracht wurde hält das Stövchen es für eine lange Zeit auf zwischen 80-90 Grad und dem Tee-Genuss steht nichts mehr im Wege. Vielen Dank Oryoki!
