Noble, magnetic knife block made of ash wood, stained black. The design label Noyer makes this knife block by hand in Denmark. The wooden strip is cut from one piece of wood. We carry three sizes: 25 cm for up to 3 knives, 40 cm for 5 knives and 60 cm for up to 8 knives. Each knife bar is unique and slightly different from the others. But all of them are cut at 45-degree angles and are very easy to mount on the wall with the two included screws. The screws are not visible after mounting. The magnetic part is made of small but very strong neodymium magnets. An example: for the magnetic bar with 40 cm, 20 small magnets are installed so that the knives do not \"rotate\" when applied to the knife holder.

The wood of the knife bar is painted by hand with an ash-based varnish.

Magnetic knife holders from Noyer

The knife holders from Noyer come in different sizes: 25 cm, 40 cm, 60 cm and 80 cm. They are cut from a piece of wood that is, for example, 40 cm long. However, the length of the finished product varies slightly. All knife blocks are made by hand and each item differs in shape from the other. They are all cut at 45-degree angles and are very easy to mount on a wall with two screws. The screws are not visible after mounting. The magnetic part is made of small but very strong neodymium magnets. For example: There are 20 small magnets built into the 40 cm magnetic bar, so that the knives do not \"turn\" when they are applied to the knife holder. The magnetic knife holders are suitable for at least 3 (25 cm), 5 (40 cm), 8 (60 cm) and 11 (80 cm) knives. The front of the knife holders is made of American walnut wood or black lacquered ash.

Note on use

The wood of the walnut knife bar is oiled by hand, the ash knife bars are stained black with a water-based stain. If possible, clean only dry. The stain can stain.

The design philosophy of Noyer is based on the aesthetics of the material: American walnut. The wood of the walnut tree is prominently grained and has rich color variations. The designers at Noyer skillfully transfer this liveliness to their wonderful handmade products.

Janus Larsen, the carpenter from Denmark, founded the label Noyer. He combines his love for walnut wood with his creativity and the craftsmanship of the entire team at Noyer. "Made for each other" are walnut and copper - so it's no wonder that these two noble materials artistically come together in many furniture pieces and accessories. In the workshop in Valby, Denmark, the scent of wood fills the air. Copper shavings and walnut sawdust are part of the creative atmosphere. Visitors can observe the manual oiling of the wood, which gives the design products the final, perfect finish. Those present at the right moment witness the birth of a piece of furniture or cutting board directly at the saw table. Noyer stands for noble craftsmanship with wood in unique, personal design through and through.
