"Incense burner Flower Arare OIGEN"
Incensing with Incense Sticks, Incense Cones, and Japanese Incense Spirals
This is the simplest method to infuse your rooms with aromatic fragrances. Pour some sand - or alternatively, granules or ash - into the vessel. Place incense cones and incense spirals directly onto the sand, light them, and close the lid. The incense sticks are best arranged with the lid closed, using the provided openings.
Burning Resins and Herbs with the Sakura Incense Burner
To burn resins and herbs with Sakura, you'll need the resins or herbs, some sand, and incense charcoal. Fill the vessel with sand and then place the previously lit incense charcoal on top. Place your chosen incense, be it resin or herbs, directly onto the burning charcoal. Please ensure the vessel is on a flat surface and cannot be knocked over. Now close the lid and immerse yourself in the full-bodied aroma.
Japanese Incensing Method
The Japanese incensing method is ceremonial, somewhat more time-consuming, and requires specific utensils. You'll need an incense burner like Sakura, a candle, incense charcoal, ideally the largely odourless Japanese incense charcoal, incense ash, and incense. Traditional ceremonial tools include tongs, metal sticks, an ash press, a feather brush, and a mica plate for the incense. In Japan, aromatic woods or sandalwood are typically used during the incense ceremony.
All products are unique. Slight deviations from the image are possible. Due to their handcrafted nature, minor irregularities in shape and surface might occur. Iwachu products are only genuine with the original stamp on the product.

Oigen
OIGEN strives to be 100% transparent and consistently embraces responsibility for our collective future. Most products are made from 100% natural materials and are processed and finished exclusively with natural methods (NOF, Naked Finish). The company has a long tradition and feels deeply connected to it, but thinks and acts modern, open-minded, and promotes innovations wherever it fits the philosophy of OIGEN. With its founding in 1852, a strong, traditional foundation was laid. The fact that the fifth generation of the founder Genjuro now leads a modern company in the spirit of history shows that tradition and bold, responsible, future-oriented action are not opposites but extremely enriching. OIGEN combines tradition with the future, brings people closer together, and touches hearts.
The headquarters of OIGEN in Mizusawa is located in the cultural sphere of Hiraizumi, Iwate Prefecture. Hiraizumi was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011. In 1090 AD, Kiyohira Fujiwara summoned excellent craftsmen from the Kyoto area to Mizusawa, laying the foundation for the high-quality casting of natural iron. Nambu Tekki (Nanbu Tekki) soon became synonymous with excellent cast iron products in Japan and many places around the world.
Every item is a uniquely handcrafted piece.
