Dressing stone and rubbing stone from Naniwa. The Dressing Stone Nagura is the ideal stone to prepare, clean and refresh your water sharpening stones for knife sharpening. To prepare, simply glide the Nagura over the wet whetstone in a few circular motions. Once the water slightly changes color a little, it is enough, your whetstone has achieved the right texture and you can sharpen your knife. When you clean your grindstone with the Nagura, the surface of the grindstone will be free again from residues and deposits that come from the steel of the knife. This greatly improves the sharpening action on the next sharpening. In doing so, the Nagura Dressing Stone is gentle so that not too much material is removed from your high quality water whetstone. Especially if your whetstone has yet to be flattened, gentle cleaning is useful and will prolong the life of your water whetstone. Before use, the Nagura cleaning stone should be soaked well until it is saturated, which you can tell by the fact that no more air bubbles are rising. Rub the Nagura in circles over the water sharpening stone until black traces from the last knife sharpening have disappeared. After use, they should thoroughly wash the cleaning stone and the cleaned water grindstone.

Perfekt
Für meine Steine (Shapton Glass Stones) perfekt. Mit Gefühl, Geduld und ohne Druck macht der Nagura die Schleiffläche wieder sauber und frei von Ablagerungen. Aus meiner Sicht absolute Empfehlung.
