These decorative oval serving plates, made of high-quality glazed stoneware, are crafted in a traditional manner by a renowned manufactory in Japan. Truly handmade, each piece stands as a unique testament to skilled craftsmanship. The superior manufacturing quality results in plates with remarkable strength and durability. The world-renowned designer, Makoto Komatsu, is particularly acclaimed for his ceramic creations. Born in Tokyo, he studied at and later became a professor at Musashino Art University. His work has been exhibited in cities such as Tokyo, Paris, New York, London, Shanghai, Beijing, and Oslo. With numerous international design awards to his name, his creations are proudly displayed in some of the world's leading museums.
