Ceramic japan

Ceramic Japan was founded in 1973 in the historic ceramic region of Seto City, Aichi Prefecture. The idea of ceramic japan, to combine first-class product design with traditional craftsmanship, is still the supporting foundation of the manufactory today. Products from ceramic japan are typically a harmonious synergy between design standards and unusual production techniques. At home and abroad, ceramic japan has made a name for itself with its extraordinary products, which are characterized by practical but also artistic qualities. Makoto Komatsu

The world-renowned designer Makoto Komatsu, has made a name for himself especially with ceramic works. born in Tokyo, studied and later became a professor at Musashino Art University. Exhibitions in Tokyo, Paris, New York, London, Shanghai, Beijing and Oslo, among others, many international design awards, represented in major museums around the world.
