"Japanese teapot T.Kato S, white"
Teapot by Tatsumi Kato (ceramic japan), traditionally handmade, modern design. The manufactory is located in Seto, Aichi Prefecture. There, where pottery is traditionally made, as this region is endowed with a particularly high quality pottery putty. It is the only pottery center in Japan that uses a glaze that has been used since the Kamakura period, for over 1000 years. The award-winning manufactory is distinguished by its deliberately close collaboration of modern designers with traditional artisans. The results are products the world has not yet seen. New forms of high aesthetics but also highest utility value and best quality. The differences to inexpensive mass-produced and industrial goods is not only visible but - according to tea connoisseurs - can also be clearly experienced in the taste experience.
All products are unique. Slight deviations from the picture are possible. Due to the artisan production, small irregularities are evidence of authenticity and craftsmanship and do not represent a reduction in value.
