Teapot by Tatsumi Kato, from Ceramic Japan, is traditionally handmade and showcases a modern design. The manufactory is situated in Seto, Aichi Prefecture, a region renowned for its high-quality pottery putty and longstanding pottery tradition. Interestingly, it remains the only pottery center in Japan that continues to use a glaze originating from the Kamakura period, a tradition lasting over 1000 years. The award-winning manufactory stands out due to its purposeful collaboration between contemporary designers and traditional artisans, leading to the creation of unparalleled products.
