"Tea gifts: Green tea Kabusecha Asuka organic"
Green tea Kabusecha Asuka organic, Japan. Semi-shaded
It is rare and is grown by a certified organic tea farmer. The Kabusecha Asuka, semi-shaded, comes closest to the wild tea bush. The shading slows down growth, giving the tea plant more valuable time to develop its valuable ingredients. The lower yields are more than compensated for by the higher quality. Especially for the tea drinker who enjoys this Kabusecha. Compared to Sencha, Kabusecha has fewer catechins and more theanine, making it - like Gyokuro - one of the most stimulating types of tea. Of course, with all the gentleness that is characteristic of green tea. The rich dark green leaves alone show the high quality level at which this tea can be classified. A clear, strong golden hue with a slight greenish shimmer already visually indicates its soothing power.
Taste and health
Its rich body is similar to that of Gyokuro. The freshness of this green tea variety is pronounced, which also distinguishes it from senchas. Slightly nutty notes and its typical sweetness are clearly evident. It is aromatic, fragrant yet mild - a multi-layered character. Its health-promoting effect is remarkable. Metabolism, concentration and memory, kidneys, intestines and cardiovascular system can all benefit from every bowl of Kabusecha enjoyed by tea drinkers.
Tea jewels are valuable but rare
Only small quantities of our rarities are harvested and produced each year. However, they spoil us with their extraordinary characters and exquisite aromas, which have been cultivated and refined over centuries. All rarities are of the finest organic quality. As only the most tender leaves of the plants are used for our teas, the quantities picked are very small. All plucking is done by hand, carefully checked and sorted. To fully enjoy these rare green teas, you should ideally use soft, possibly filtered water. You can enhance the flavor by boiling the water in a real Japanese kettle, preferably an Iwachu kettle, and brewing the tea in a Japanese clay teapot (Kyusu) according to the instructions.
Suitable for several infusions. Also very tasty as a cold drink.
Note
Tested for radioactivity on export and import. Please store green tea from Japan in a cool place. This way they retain their unique aroma.
