"Tea gifts: Green Tea Sencha Mizuki Organic"
Original Japanese organic Sencha Mizuki, shaded
No green tea is more popular in Japan and around the world than Sencha. Sencha Mizuki from Oryoki is special in more ways than one. Only small quantities, a few kilograms per year, are produced. This makes it a real rarity. The tea farmers of the small, exclusive tea garden work almost exclusively by hand, very conscientiously and carefully. As befits an organic tea. And, rather exceptionally, this organic Sencha is shaded in order to exploit the full potential of the tea plant. Admittedly at the expense of the yield, but to the delight of lovers of rare super premium teas. This wonderful Sencha grows in the sunny south with its subtropical climate, on the island of Kyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture. After picking, the leaves are carefully steamed and rolled so that they can later release their valuable ingredients into the tea water in the best possible way. The taste, color and fullness of this sencha are more than convincing.
Taste and health
A beautiful red-gold color shines out of the cup to the tea drinker. This is unusual, as most senchas tend to be a light to intense green in the tea bowl. Its taste is strong, and in the mouth it develops a great fullness but also a clear freshness. The slightly bitter, noble-bitter note harmonizes wonderfully with the balanced sweetness and the light finish. High-quality senchas are generally regarded as the variety with the best and strongest health benefits among green teas. Sencha Mizuki, shaded, is rich in catechins and antioxidants, which can have a supportive effect on cardiovascular and metabolic problems, cancer, mouth and throat diseases, high cholesterol and other ailments.
Tea jewels are valuable but rare
Only small quantities of our rarities are harvested and produced each year. However, they spoil us with their extraordinary characters and exquisite aromas, which have been cultivated and refined over centuries. All rarities are of the finest organic quality. As only the most tender leaves of the plants are used for our teas, the quantities picked are very small. All plucking is done by hand, carefully checked and sorted. To fully enjoy these rare green teas, you should ideally use soft, possibly filtered water. You can enhance the flavor by boiling the water in a real Japanese kettle, preferably an Iwachu kettle, and brewing the tea in a Japanese clay teapot (Kyusu) according to the instructions.
Suitable for several infusions. Also very tasty as a cold drink.
Note
Tested for radioactivity on export and import. Please store green tea from Japan in a cool place. This way they retain their unique aroma.
