Japanese knife Shichi Santoku 170, hammer blow

  • SKU: 080157
The knife of the 3 virtues - vegetables, fish and meat - is a virtually indispensable kitchen helper, a versatile all-purpose knife. The hammered blade not only looks very good, it is also quite practical in nature, as the cut material adheres less strongly than with smooth, polished blades. Seki Kanetsugu uses VG-2 stainless steel encased in SUS410 for the blade core. This combination features high flexibility, durability and corrosion resistance. The blades are hand-ground on both sides with a 15° angle. Easy to clean is the 7-cornered handle made of pakka wood with Micarta ferrule, which also convinces with a very beautiful wood grain. The knife series Shichi is a very high quality entry into the beautiful world of traditional Japanese chef's knives.
