"Sencha Mizuki organic, Japan"
Original Japanese Organic Sencha Mizuki, Shaded
Sencha is the most widely drunk green tea in Japan. Over 70% of the green tea grown in Japan is Sencha. The qualities of Senchas on the market are very wide ranging from plain Bencha to high quality Gyokuro. Our Sencha Mizuki is a valuable rarity for several reasons. First, it is only produced in small quantities, which makes it a real gem. The tea farmers are very careful and selective with a lot of handwork. And it is organically grown, which reduces the harvest size even more. And - a real highlight - this Sencha is shaded, a true rarity and a real quality enhancer. Region of origin is the sunny south with subtropical climate, Kyushu Island, Fukuoka, one of the absolute top areas. After harvesting, the leaves are steamed, rolled and are thus particularly open to the delivery of their valuable ingredients. Our organic Sencha Mizuki is therefore clearly different from normal Senchas. In particular, its taste, color and fullness have convinced us completely.
How does the organic Sencha Mizuki
taste?
Most senchas show a light to intense green in the cup. Organic Sencha Mizuki, on the other hand, shines with a beautiful red-gold. The taste is strong, it develops strongly in the mouth and seems very full, with a clear freshness. Slightly tart, noble-bitter with balanced sweetness and light finish.
Bio-Sencha Mizuki and your health
Generally, high quality senchas are considered the best variety in terms of their general health benefits. Organic Sencha Mizuki, which is grown in an organic and controlled manner, has high levels of catechins and antioxidants. In terms of health-promoting ingredients, this sencha is the most balanced among all tea varieties, hence the broad effect.
Tea jewels are valuable but rare
Only small quantities of our rarities are harvested and produced each year. In exchange, they indulge with their exceptional characters and exquisite flavors that have been cultivated and refined over centuries. All rarities are of the finest organic quality. Since only the most tender leaves of the plants are used for our teas, the plucking quantities are very small. All pluckings are done by hand, carefully checked and sorted. To fully enjoy these rare green teas, you should ideally use soft water, filtered if necessary. You can achieve an increase in flavor by boiling the water in a real Japanese kettle, preferably an Iwachu kettle, and brewing the tea in a Japanese clay teapot (Kyusu) according to instructions.
