"Kukicha organic, Japan"
Original Japanese organic Kukicha
Under the name Kukicha are offered valuable teas but also teas with rather average quality. Our organic Kukicha is for health-conscious tea drinkers a very good, naturally unflavored tea that can be enjoyed daily. The fine leaf veins and stems of Sencha as well as Gyokuro give the Kukicha a fragrant aroma and a subtle tart flavor. The green tea has many amonic acids but little caffeine, so it is also very well tolerated in the evening.
How does the organic Kukicha taste
Our organic Kukicha is a spicy green tea with a fine tart taste without any annoying bitterness. It has enough strength that it can be drunk well with appropriate meals - or afterwards - with its fragrant aroma, without drowning in taste.
Organic Kukicha and your health
The low caffeine content makes the Kukicha very tolerable, even for people who do not tolerate caffeine well. Where - this note is allowed - the caffeine of green tea in cooperation with theanine is anyway much better tolerated, because it enters the body in a muted way. Kukicha offers, however, even for a green tea, a great wealth of minerals and especially of rare trace elements. Especially for trace elements, green tea is an excellent provider, while black tea compares poorly here because of fermentation. Positive effects on your metabolism, your immune system, your hormone balance confirm many studies. Your acid-base balance also benefits, as acids are neutralized.
Green tea from Japan from small organic tea gardens
Our premium tea from Japan comes exclusively from small tea gardens with organic cultivation ethones. The harvest quantities are relatively small due to the cultivation method, which gives the teas a certain exclusivity. The careful harvesting is done with a lot of manual work, great care and extremely conscientious. All pluckings are expertly inspected and sorted. To fully enjoy these rare green teas, you should ideally use soft, possibly filtered water. You can achieve an increase in flavor by boiling the water in a genuine Japanese kettle, preferably a kettle from Iwachu, and brewing the tea in a Japanese clay teapot (Kyusu) according to instructions.
Organic Certified: DE-ÖK0-039, Japanese Agriculture.
Note
Tested for radioactivity when exported or imported. Green tea from Japan please store in a cool, dark and dry place. So it retains its unique flavor. Suitable for multiple infusions. Also very tasty as a cold drink.

Oryoki
Organically certified tea from Kagoshima.
Our ORYOKI tea comes from an organic-certified tea farm located on the island of Kyushu in Kagoshima, southern Japan. The subtropical climate with abundant sunshine and plentiful rainfall at an elevation of about 500 meters above sea level provides optimal conditions for cultivating high-quality green tea. The expansive tea fields in the mountainous region are a characteristic feature of tea farms in Kagoshima. Spring water and volcanic soil rich in minerals offer optimal conditions for the growth of tea plants.
Gentle processing and quality controls for optimal tea enjoyment.
The prohibition of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers is just one of the many regulations for the organic certification of tea farms and tea processing companies. Stringent annual inspections by the Japanese certification authority for agricultural operations ensure compliance with the measures. Additionally, organic teas are tested for pesticides and radioactivity by independent laboratories. The best foundation for healthy and high-quality tea enjoyment.
Gold award for the tea master.
The high-quality tea leaves from our family-run tea farm are not the only reason for our premium product. The skills of the tea master play a crucial role in the final quality. All our tea varieties are produced in micro-batches and not in mass production, following traditional methods. Years of experience in production enable us to fully extract the flavor and character of each green tea batch. Most recently, the tea master was awarded gold at the annual tea processing competition in Shizuoka.
